The Independence Day episode of the SMRPodcast is online and ready for download. It was a slow week for tech news generally, but a devastating week for Research in Motion specifically. RIM reported it’s first quarterly loss in 8 years and announced that BlackBerry 10 would be delayed until Q1 2013. We all give our opinions on RIM’s future, and, it is far from rosy.

We also talk Windows 8 upgrades, a bit about Windows tablets, and about Rod’s inability to keep electronics dry when within a mile of water. We’ve got all this, our picks, and more in episode #124 of the SMRPodcast…
