Win A Free Copy Of PodTrapper From Simple Mobile Review

February 2, 2010 by Robb Dunewood 4 Comments

As some of you may already know, RIMarkable is part of the Simple Mobile Review Podcast.  We are holding our first contest and the prize is a goodie…  PodTrapper, unquestionably the best podcatcher available for the BlackBerry and arguably the best podcatching application available for any smartphone.

If you want a chance to win a copy, all you have to do is send out a Tweet!

  1. Go to Twitter and follow SimpleMobileRev.
  2. Then (and this is the last step) simply write out the following tweet…

Win a copy of PodTrapper for Blackberry from @SimpleMobileRev Pls RT. Details here: http://bit.ly/9mCsIr

Tweet this EXACTLY as written and be sure to only tweet it once. If your Tweet doesn’t match this text string EXACTLY it won’t count.  15 winners will be randomly selected and posted on this page on February 8th. Winners will be contacted by direct message on Twitter with a product activation code.  Also, make sure that your Tweets are not private so that we can see them.  We can’t count them if we can’t see them.

If you would like to take a look at PodTrapper just to see what it is you are trying to win, check out the PodTrapper Free Trial.  Make sure that you listen to the Simple Mobile Review Podcast when you do.

Good Luck!

Podtrapper is a fantastic program and I’m glad I bought it but your entry method for this contest is kinda suspect. Actually it’s very suspect. This is not a good way of getting Google juice guys. Don’t mess with your SEO because if it goes south, your gonna get black listed. 🙁

I ask honestly, as I am fairly new to Twitter contests, what do you think is suspect?

Am I breaking a Twitter etiquette rule or something?

Paul thanks for the heads up. I tried to follow the model I saw used at another site PhotoFocus when they did a give away for some Canon and Nikon Cameras. In the future I will try to use another model. I thought this was as simple as possible for the users. Can you be more specific as to what is suspect?

There’s nothing suspect. I do Twitter contests all the time. Only thing that I would have done differently would be allowing people to enter simply retweeting…
