Reply Thomas Martin on December 5, 2008 at 12:37 pm I just checked and I see nothing as well. Makes me wonder are we talking 12 EST or PST. Time zones get you everytime Reply bluehorseshoe on December 5, 2008 at 12:57 pm I heard it would be in the ‘afternoon’, not at 12 noon, but I’ve also heard that we may not see the update until Monday. Many rumors flying around, but either way I think we’ll see something relatively soon. Reply Mark H. on December 5, 2008 at 1:15 pm Does anyone know for sure if the Verizon that is supposed to come out to day the same one that was leaked this passed Monday? Reply Eric on December 5, 2008 at 1:57 pm I downloaded it from the “unofficial” site. Worked fine. No issues. Battery life is certainly better. That was an issue I had with the previous firmware. Reply bluehorseshoe on December 5, 2008 at 2:50 pm You can update to .75 via Desktop Manager now, and at 9:30pm PST today via OTA. Reply Anthony E. on December 5, 2008 at 4:42 pm Looks like its available now on the verizon site. Im downloading it now….. Reply bluehorseshoe on December 5, 2008 at 5:47 pm Couldn’t wait for the OTA update to test and see how that worked…so I did the download. Nice. MUCH faster. Able to fly through emails, delete, etc. Nice bump up. Going to play with it for a few days before giving it some final thoughts, but first impression is very noticeable. Reply bluehorseshoe on December 5, 2008 at 8:11 pm Wooo…problems with voice mail. Indicators not appearing until much later. Been on the phone with support and we’ve been getting varying results. Opening up a ticket on this… Reply dicefordeath on December 8, 2008 at 9:42 pm I agree, it’s a huge step better than .65. Not quite as good as .76. Or maybe I’m imagining things 🙂 Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
