For what it’s worth, I called my local Verizon store. They couldn’t give an exact date, but did confirm the Storm to be released BEFORE THANKSGIVING.
So I’d bet we’ll finally get to see this thing in the next week or two.
They did put me on a list to call “as soon as they know”.
