Well, it appears that BlackBerry 8700g from T-Mobile is available and from the looks of this picture is actually shipping, however, we still haven’t heard an official announcment from either T-Mobile or Research in Motion.

Perhaps the unbelievable inability of T-Mo to get their stuff together (at least in the US) is why quite a few have gotten the 8700c and are using it on their network. As an aotherwise happy T-Mo customer, I find the inability of these companies to keep their customers informed about upcoming product roll out simply mystifying.
I can’t figure it out either. I am a generally satisfied TMobile customer; however, I cannot understand why they have effectively turned their backs on business people / professionals by not having any semblence of solutions for us. If I was 16 and wanted to chat with other high-schoolers on some flip-phone gadget, then their selection would be acceptable. As a professional, I am about to be forced to leave Tmobile because they have no solutions for me ……not to mention that they can’t even tell me the price of the 8700 that I need to replace my broken 7100t….
Why are you all so red-a**ed about this. The last time i checked T-Mo has several more than capable BB devices..The 7290, 7105, and in some stores the 7230. They are all still really useful devices.
Be patient…
