There is a video running on CNN about how many BlackBerry users should be paid more becasue they are using their BlackBerrys to work after hours.
What do you think. Should BlackBerry users be paid more?

I don’t think so. If all you’re doing is emails and not booting up old reliable, then it’s not too much of a big deal in my opinion. The extra effort gets you further in your career, and the rewards usually come at some point with the effort. Eventually, you get paid extra.
I don’t think so either. If it’s just a few emails and doesn’t go overboard then I don’t feel it’s an issue. I do think that employees should be able to turn it off after hours and not fear any consequence. If there’s a consequence for not being connected after-hours then pay is definitely in order.
…agreed. the only exception i would argue is when you are now taking on more responsibility than what your original job description calls for. but, if this is the case, its probably time to discuss raises with your boss anyway.
