Research in Motion reported their fourth quater and year-end results for fiscal 2009. You can read the full press release here, however, to make a long story short, RIM had revenues of $3.46 billion, up 24.5% from $2.78 billion in the previous quarter and up 84% from $1.88 billion in the same quarter of last year.
Those are good numbers even in the best of economic times. Subsequently, RIM’s stock price, at the time of this post, was up over 23% in after hours trading to$60.70 per share.
Waiting for the Rock/Hellno to say what a terrible quarter they had and how they’re going to tank, even with the news.
PS Rock/Hellno: I got rid of my iPhone, and not because of the device, which I loved, but because AT&T is awful. Reception is shady, dropped calls, and data sucks. They had to send mobile trucks out in Austin just to keep up with data at a show. I’ll get a touch iPod and continue to enjoy the device without the AT&T service.
