The question is “Is there some type of BlackBerry outage right now?”, and the answer is, “Yes, there is”.
According to Data Outages News, all North American carriers are experiencing issues affecting BIS and BES only, on what appears to be devices with Wi-Fi. “Data works sometimes when connected via WiFi; no data when WiFi is disconnected.”
Can anyone confirm if this is affecting BES activations on Rogers in Vancouver. We are unable to activate a 9000 running 5.0, however my email is reconciling.
If its a problem with blackberry it doesnt matter what carrier your on its rim’s servers problems started yesterday.
Didn’t notice anything today…on either of my devices (or carriers).
Noticed a little weirdness yesterday but only slow email delivery not an outage of any sort. All good through the mobile network and on t-mobile uma.
No outage really, just updating to BIS 3.0
Its starting working again on Tuesday morning.
I confirmed there was an outage in Vancouver ion Rogers throughout Monday.
