Thanks to Russell Shaw, of BBHub, I may have a few more visitors than usual tonight because he linked to my BlackBerry PDA debate thread over on Howard Forums. I asked the question, “Email aside, how does BlackBerry rate as a PDA?”
I was just wondering how those of you that have used PocketPC or Palm as a PDA would rate your BlackBerry’s PDA functions against the other players when you don’t put email into the mix.
I am a PocketPC transplant and although I now am a die-hard CrackBerry addict, I miss some of the features that I had on my old Ipaq. Infra-Red, memory cardslots, more horsepower, and a stylus, just to name a few.
What are your thoughts?
I’ve written about this general topic recently. For now at least, I think the BB is the best tool – but probably not the coolest gadget.
