I was just reading an article about how Madonna cannot bear to be without hear BlackBerry and even sleeps with it under her pillow and it got me to wondering about how many RIMarkable readers sleep with their devices.
I have to admit, although I don’t sleep with my BlackBerry under my pillow, it usually finds it’s way to the nightstand next to my bed. I don’t imagine that Madonna and I are the only ones.

Mine is on my dresser across the room while I sleep. I set it on phone only.
I have the “quiet” profile set to only make noise on phone calls or SMS for when I sleep. My Blackberrry is also my alarm clock.
Mine is my alarm as well. Not quite as good as the Nintendo DS, but it does the trick.
Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! I love my BB!!
I’ve always used whatever phone I have as my alarm clock… I just leave mine on the “Normal” setting at night… no auto on/off for me. I generally don’t hear when an email arrives in the middle of the night but for some reason I ALWAYS hear my wake-up alarm. Can’t live without it!
I don’t know if anyone saw this article yesterday from MSNBC. I recieved it in my RSS feed. I understand that there are people out there who still don’t have cell phones. But honestly… it baffles me. How can people live without them?!?!?!

I’ll leave mine on my night table or my dresser (both my work 8703 and my personal Pearl) and I’ll leave them in normal mode if someone needs me in an emergency. My friends know better than to contact me at 2am unless there’s a serious issue.
i sleep with my old 8700 as my alarm clock, and it’s only used for that purpose. my 8830 is my main phone. for some reason, the 8830 has lame alarm sounds, too…
@Marucs:
MP3 ringtones FTW…
the chorus to Paramore’s “Misery Business” is my alarm…
I must say… the speaker-phone on my 8130 Pearl is LOUD AS HELL. I’ve had it for a month and I still jump out of my skin when my alarm goes off…
