$249.99 for a BlackBerry Curve 8330 is a bit pricey compared to other phones offered by Boost Mobile, but, $60 per month for unlimited useage is a pretty darn good deal, especially when you don’t have to sign up to multi-year contract.
I suspect that that this will become a fairly popular item for Boost Mobile…

Anyone know if I can jump from Verizon to Boost and use the Storm 2 on the Boost Mobile network?
Nope you can’t.
He’s right it has to be with boost mobile sorry
Comparing the BoostBerry.com Blackberry 8350i to the new Boost Mobile BlackBerry 8330
The Boost Mobile Blackberry Curve 8330 offering is an excellent option, but there are some limitations you might want to be aware of.
1. The 8350i has WiFi, the 8330 does not. This is a nice option if you want to view large youtube videos, Pandora, and other bandwidth intensive functions.
2. For those who want it, the 8350i has the PTT Walkie Talkie (“Chirp”) and the 8330 does not.
3. The 8330 is 3G, and where available it has fantastic performance, but 3G isn’t always available and actual performance may not be any faster then IDEN in some parts of the USA
4. MOST IMPORTANTLY: The 8330 will ONLY work on the Boost CDMA subset map of the Sprint Network and according to Boost’s site and a Boost rep I spoke with, there is NO ROAMING outside of the limited Boost CDMA map; this is a smaller geographic area then is covered by Boost IDEN.
The MetroPCS BlackBerry Curve has a similar limitation for Unlimited Calling only in their covered cities, but at least you can roam into other areas of the USA at 19 cents/min!
The Boost CSR said there will be NO roaming. This could turn out to be false information, but I asked the CSR to ask her supervisor and she confirmed NO ROAMING.
boostberry.com is a shady company. i have a $320+ bricked blackberry from them and they don’t care. go to their website. look for their street address. where does it say their street address on their site? if you click their contact page that # goes directly to voicemail. good luck trying to contact them about a bricked phone. it didn’t work right out of the box and, after hassels getting it to work, did not work long before croaking. you can buy the 8330 directly from boost and metropcs, for less than boostberry.com charges, without any hacks or dealing with shady companies like this. i can also say that bis, downloading, push, im’s, and typical blackberry features do NOT work on this hacked 8350i. you can NOT download apps. i don’t like the 8330 and tried this company because the 8350i is a better phone supposedly hacked to work on an affordable unlimited plan. thing is, t-mobile has a $60 no-contract plan with unlimited web, data, text, night/weekend voice, 3g gsm network (which means the phones can work anywhere in the world and switch carriers with a new sim- also have international roaming option on this plan), and 500m voice/mo anytime. their full line of new blackberries are new and fully supported with manufacturers warranties honored at stores nationwide, and they are better phones at a cheaper price than this shady sight. conclusion: metropcs and boost sell their own supported 8330’s that actually work and t-mobile has a comparable no-contract plan with a full line of superior gsm blackberries at decent prices. i have a $320+ paperweight from boostberry.com and THEY ARE SHADY.
Update on BoostBerry.com BlackBerry 8350i vs. Boost Mobile BlackBerry 8330
Don’t be so quick to change your 8350i for the 8330
I have been testing both phones driving around Florida and in most of the local metropolitan areas, although the CDMA (3G) should be MUCH FASTER then the IDEN, this does not appear to be true. Sometimes the CDMA (3G) Blackberry is faster (maybe 50%) then the BoostBerry.com 8350i, but sometimes it is the same speed. Latency with the IDEN appears to be about the same as the CDMA.
Maybe others can run some tests in other parts of the country. The CDMA (3G) Blackberry 8330 SHOULD be many times faster then the IDEN model.
Is it possible that Boost has limited bandwidth or speed on the Blackberry 8330?
Also, from my local experience at home, in the office, and when near a WiFi signal like Starbucks or McDonalds, the WiFi signal is significantly faster then the 3G.
Remember people, this is new to Boost Mobile customers. I’ve had both phones in which i currently have boost mobile’s blackberry 8330. I’m from new jersey and whether boostberry or blackberry, they both have great service. However, the 8330 does give me more such as bbm which works for me cause I could IM all my friends. Also, I have all my emails, including my work email that comes straight to my phone. Last, Blackberyy App World. Now, that works for me.
Hi
im thinking about getting the 8330 blackberry on boost network. i live in NJ- How is the call quality and reception?
Well, I live in newark, nj and the reception is quite clear. The Blackberry itself is real good. For a pre-paid phone with this type of service, I must commend Boost. The texting is better, the BBM is excellent and I can’t complain about the service. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose but the possibility of something to gain. I recommend if you never had Boost service before, and if you can afford to, purchase a less expensive phone with minimum minutes to see how you like the service. If you like the service then you’ll love the blackberry because it runs on the Sprint Network…Enjoy
I’ve had the Boost Mobile BB Curve 8330 for about 6 months now and it has exceeded my expectations in every way since purchasing the phone and signing up for the $60/month Unlimited plan. I live in the greater Cleveland area and it’s VERY rare for me to have no signal, and generally the Sprint CMHA Network is incredibly fast and very reliable. I can count on one hand how many dropped calls I’ve had in the last 6 months, with the exception of being inside my house… which generally has a very low signal, even on other carriers that I’ve had in the past. Overall I like the phone, the internet works well and is usually quick (can watch youtube videos and download/upload email messages with attachments easily), the phone is very clear and the blue tooth works great, it plays MP3s and videos well enough… the only Curve 8330 issue is that it will sometimes freeze up (usually once every few days) and requires a battery-pull to reset (90% of the time that clears up any issues and it’s back to normal). The Service, for $60/month, is AMAZING. No Contract, Legitimately $60/month, and Unlimited EVERYTHING. 9.5/10 in my opinion.
p.s.- I’ve driven down all the way to Florida and used the BB to stream live local radio stations in Cleveland and out of the full 11 hours each way, I’d say about 10.5 hours has absolutely no issues streaming (even in the Mountains of West Virginia). Anyway, I hope this helps you make the decision if you’re on the fence. Well worth it!!!!
when is black berry comming out?
why doesnt the blackberry 8330 work in philly for metro pcs but works in florida, california, maryland ????
its out?
Can you watch youtube with the 8330?
I just got my Blackberry and I’d say it’s definitely worth it. Yes, you can watch youtube videos and I downloaded Pandora so I can listen to internet radio. Call quality and reception is great. The phone was a bit pricey but well worth when you factor in the cost of the service monthly. I had boost previously and had nothing but problems. The texting was inconsistent and the service wasn’t great on the IDEN network, but this is a radical difference IMO.
Barret, I”m telling everyone about this phone. I’ve had just about all my friends switch service. At first, they all laughed at me because they thought it was a joke. Until I started showing them I could do everything they could do with their blackberry’s for half the cost, then they became skeptical. Like I said earlier, it’s pre-paid and I don’t expect to have everything perfect, but I must say, so far so good. Enjoy!
Enterprize, I agree 100%. The internet speeds are 3G this phone is such a great deal Boost has me a customer for life if this is the kind of service I’m going to be getting.
I wanna know if the new boost blackberry works like the sprint blackberry..do the apps look good?
Can anyone comment on the performance of the Boost 8330 in the Raleigh/Durham area?
how about the boost blackberry service in and Waco, Temple, Texas area
to: dulcechristo
I work for Boostberry. There is nothing “Shady” about them. They have an almost 100% feedback on Ebay. I don’t understand your problem. They have sold more than 1,000 of the 8350i model in the last year. The guys who run the company have a no hassle return policy; what is your problem? Return the phone and get a refund. You don’t even need a reason to get a refund and the phone comes with a one year repair/replacement warranty that covers BOTH software and Hardware.
Everyone knows that all services will work with the Blackberry 8350i EXCEPT for those that require a BLACKBERRY SUBSCRIPTION; this is not news.
That is why you only pay $50/mo to Boost Mobile instead of $100/mo to Nextel.
If you want a no contract Blackberry with Chirp and WiFi, the 8350i this is your only option. If you don’t need Chirp, or WiFi, and prefer the 8330, that is your choice. Also, since the 8330 costs $60/mo vs. $50/mo for the 8350i – it costs $120/yr more – for what?
The services that require a subscription are BIS, BB messenger, BB Mail and some apps that were written for the BIS service – every other app works. The BoostBerry comes pre-loaded with more than 25 Apps which work 100% includings MMS/SMS text messaging, Gmail, and other IM packages, so no disadvantage for most customers.
If you are unhappy with your phone, contact customer service at http://www.boostberry.com and they will give you an RMA# to return it for a refund.
Hello guys,
I live in the Miami Metro Area (FL) and I currently have boostmobile. My phone is the Motorola Clutch. I don’t have great things to say about boost so far and I was considering buying the new blackberry phone but I have a few questions.
My text messages sometimes take up to 12 hrs to get to me, does this still happen with the blackberry 8330 from boost?
Does it use the same network or is it faster?
With my current phone signal suddenly drops in areas I have full signal. Does this happen with the 8330?
Finally, when I go to a place that no body has signal such as an elevator, my signal drops instantly and even after I get out of the elevator, my signal doesn’t recover until minutes later and sometimes I need to turn off my phone and back on. Does this happen with the new blackberry?
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
TheFern
Text messages on the Blackberry Curve 8330 on Boost Mobile CDMA Service is ALWAYS INSTANTANEOUS!!! I was worried from what people on the older IDEN Network, but because the CDMA Network is run through Sprint and is 3G…. as long as you have a signal on the phone, text messages and Email send within 2 seconds of hitting the “Send” key!
From what we can tell the Nextel system accommodated millions more users than they have today, but they didn’t use as much texting. The >4 million Boost customers send/rcv more text messages then the 10 million Nextel customers who have left Nextel since they were purchased by Sprint. The problem was worse in May of 2009 and then Nextel upgraded their system and texting returned to normal. Since the beginning of February 2010, texting on the IDEN side is substandard with delays of minutes, or even hours some times.
We hope Nextel will fix the system
So will my messages get on time if I get the Blackberry or not?
The Blackberry Curve 8330 on the CDMA Network sends Text and Emails with NO DELAY. Completely awesome!
i just got a verizon blackberry 8130, can it be flashed or unlocked(sorry dont know the proper tech talk here) to be used with the boost mobile plan? if so exacty what will i need to do? my tmob planis running out in 2-3 days and i dont wanna renew with them so im hoping i can do something with this phone. please let me know ASAP!@ thanks a ton
honestly to reply about boost not roaming no it doesnt but it doesnt have to. sprint has a big coverage area. it isnt a dumbed down bb it is the best value in wireless. if u have coverage with sprint u have bb coverage.
The Boost Mobile CDMA BlackBerry 8330 DOES NOT roam on the Sprint network, but WILL ONLY work on the much more limited Boost Mobile CDMA subset of the Sprint network. See
http://www.boostmobile.com/coverage/#?map=cdma for a map. We wish it had full roaming…
The Boost Mobile IDEN 8350i WILL WORK on the entire Nextel/Sprint IDEN network, which although also limiting, has more coverage then the limited Boost CDMA subset of Sprint.
http://www.boostmobile.com/coverage/#?map=iden
I’ve never noticed that Coverage is limited… and I’ve taken trips from Ohio down to Florida. The CDMA Network is very solid.
I have been on boost for about 3 years and just went to the 8330.. yea you get alot more than your standard text pics and calls BUT!!!!!! its the biggest hassle i have ever gone through. Reception is fine etc, but when the darn thing is loading all of the time, i mean all of the time, you get the hour glass and you cant do ANYTHING.. I have to re boot / take the battery off and restart it at least 3-4 times a day. I constantly miss calls because its “thinking”.. It is a pain in the ass to try and get pictures to really work via email and text, only to certain providers does that even work. try to look up a 500k website and again, 75% of the time you get the hourglass and have to reboot as well as it dosent or i haven’t been able to find “mobile search” so that i can actually see without a magnifying glass.. I am on my way to best buy / worst buy to return the pos.. i really want to know if the 8350i is better.. so many mixed reviews.. In my book, stay away from the 8330 on boost..
Based on my brother’s recommendation, I gave Boost a try over 7 months ago when I was let out of my previous contract. Their $60 unlimited Blackberry plan is a real money saver over my $110+ previous bills – no worry about overage fees from texting anymore or dealing with contract hassles.
While I had BlackBerry with AT&T for years before opting for the IPhone, I decided to give Boost’s Curve a try since I really like the Curve. The phone itself is exactly what I was used to so I don’t really have any compliants in terms of quality. The Sprint powered calling network is giving me pretty dependable coverage with the ocassional dead zone. The internet can be a little slow depending on the area and the downloads are a bit pricy, but nothing I haven’t seen before.
Speaking of dependable, Boost’s parent company Sprint has a whole new program out that is really helping people get and keep a cell phone.
Their “Assurance Wireless” program is being in offered in five states and exclusively to low income, qualifying families and its an amazing deal. Qualifers can get both a phone and 200 minutes, with no fees or contract, for $10 a month with the potential to expand their program at. 10 a minute. While the program is new, I can only hope it will expand to more states and people who could also use a plan like this.
I might not be low-income, but the savings would totally help me. Times are tough and having a cell phone is a must so click here for Sprint president’s email address: http://assurancewireless.webs.com and let him know that everyone could use these savings.
I definitely agree that BOOSTBERRY.COM is a shady company. I purchased 2 blackberry 8350 phones from them about 4 or 5 months ago . As soon as i received the phones i had several problems with the phones, no internet and texting to be exact. I contacted them after a few a email and calls i was able to have someone send me instructions on how to fix the issue. It worked for one of the phones but the other never was able to access internet or to text, i tryed to contact them about it a few time but never heard anything back, since my friend was using that phone and he didnt really use the text and stuff i never bothered to call back about fixing it.. Even though i should of since i payed $ 360 for each one.. Now just last week one day out of the blue the phone started showing all different types of error messages , the phone wouldnt show the numbers dialed or received, no ringtone and so on..so again after a few email and call i was able to speak to them regarding this problem..They again sent me instruction on how to fix it..Tryed what they said to do but still didnt work, i dint even get a chance to call them back and now the next day the usb connection stopped working..So now i call again i speak to the rep and explained to her that the phone is still not functioning and on top of it the usb port didnt work any more and wasent able to recharge the phone once it went dead, after speaking to the manager she notified me that for all my trouble with the phones they were gonna send me a new phone to replace mine all i had to do was sent mine to them and once they received it they would ship out the new one..Well after a week or so no phone but i get a call from them saying that they didnt understand how that could happen and their conclusion was that the usb port was broken ( wow what a coincidence thats the same conclusion i came to also when i called and sayid it DIDNT WORK!) Now they try to tell me that they are not responsible for issues with the usb and tryed to sell me a new phone instead.(had a feeling that was coming). Now i have one phone that still dosent have internet and texting and the other i guess is gonna be my new paper weight like the gentlemans above….Id rather literally flush the $360 before i let them see any of my money ever again!!!! Dont waste your money like i did and many other peolpe ive been talking to that dealt with them!!! SHADY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT, MORE LIKE BLATANT SCAMMERS!!!!!
Steve:
1. all your questions were covered in the documentation you received.
2. Damage to the phone:
Be honest! Your have had the phone for more than 9 months! and we have not heard from you since September.
Had the USB not worked originally, then you would not have been able to charge the phone for the past 9 months. You broke off the earphone port so it was hanging out of the phone (you admit this.) and the USB port had separated from the circuit board (you admit this.) Your relationship with your girlfriend whose phone “conveniently” runs out of battery all the time, is not a technical problem we can help you with.
We asked you to return the phone so we could examine it; we offered to have the damage repaired for $50 and you refused and cussed two employees out on the phone. Not one company, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile or Boost would accept a phone back with wires hanging out of it and repair it at no charge. I am happy to share photographs of your damaged phone if anyone is interested.
As I told you, we have sold more than 1,500 phones since we started and the 3 major complainers we have had are those who physically damage the phone (even admit it,) and then want us to take back the phone months later and/or repair it at no charge.
We have only two negative feedbacks in 12 months on Ebay of selling Boostberrys. If customers don’t like the phones, they can return them in the first two weeks (undamaged) and receive a full refund. This is no different then the policy for all the major cell phone carriers. If you didn’t like the phone, why didn’t you return it?
Since you do not want us to repair it; we will be returning it to you. Maybe someone else can repair it for you.
Sincerely,
Boostberry.com
I got the Boost Blackberry 8330 about 5 months ago the very day that they came out. I have never owned a Blackberry before, but I have owned several smartphones over the past 4 or 5 years and I haven’t gone back to a regular phone since.
I was with Sprint for 2 years and I had the Instinct, it sucked ass, I was constantly having to return the phone just to have it replaced w/ a refurbished model, and had to send it right back within a month. I was paying $110-$130 a month for their unlimited smartphone plan, and I live in Nowheresville, IN amidst the cornfields, so I wasn’t expecting to have a great wireless signal, but for that much money, it just wasn’t worth it.
When Boost come out with the $60/month Blackberry plan, I instantly jumped on it. And I must say, I LOVE MY BLACKBERRY! It’s the first one I’ve ever owned, and I will never get another phone again unless it’s another Boost Blackberry. The price is right, I have had really no technical issues w/ the phone, the coverage in my house isn’t great, but I already knew that would be the case having already been on the Sprint network.
I always texted and e-mailed more anyway, so that is what pretty much keeps me connected to the world.
Actually getting the phone activated was a total pain in the ass, because I got it the same day it was released, I sat on hold for a grand total of about 6 1/2 hours over a series of about 4 or 5 phone calles before I finally got the phone activated and working, but so far, that’s really my only complaint.
Other than that, it’s an awesome phone, for an awesome monthly service price, and no headaches as far as little suprise charges on my bill every month or astronomical taxes and fee’s tacked on to my monthly service charge.
Long story short, I’d recommend the Boost Blackberry to anybody considering switching services or phones.
does anyone use the boost blackberry 8330 in Las Vegas?
Hi, does anyone have the boost 8330 and $60 per month plan in Scranton, or Northeast PA? I’d love to try it, I’ve always wanted a blackberry, but Boost’s service map shows an awful lot of white dead zone in my area, and my house shows only “fair” service. The cost of the plan isn’t the sticking point: the phone is $245 with no returns if the coverage is lousy, and that’s a lot of money to pay for a phone/plan/service that may not work for me. Thanks
Stay away from Boost. I bought a blackberry for $175 2 weeks ago and its been the 2 weeks from hell. I dont get messages until 24 hours after they are left, the calls get dropped. The customer service is a joke, a real joke, no one can speak english, they are looking through booklets to help you troubleshoot and dont know what they are doing.
I can get on U Tube some times, but not always. Its awful, I hate them.
Stay away
Can I use the bb 8350i on the Boost Blackberry unlimited plan?
I HATE MY BLACKBERRY IT DOES NOT WORK THE RECEPTION IS SO BAD IN DOWN SOUTH GA. I WISH I COULD CHANGE MY PHONE OVER TO VERIZON BUT I CANT BECAUSE ITS LOCKED. CAN ANY BODY HELP ME……..
Hey, I’m I Scranton PA i have the boostmobile balacberry 8330 and I haye it. I have the same exact problem that Bryan G has. I don’t know if it is the phone( I never had a BB before now) or boostmobile’s network. I’m thinking about buying a cheaper phone or just go back to tmobile my sidekick was great and their service too.
Help please is it the network in Scranton PA or is just that my BB 8330 is defective???????
I have to say that I bought my 8330 from ebay (Boost phone) got a great deal. Within 40 minutes Boost had ported my phone number from ATT and within two hours I was up and running with unlimited text, web, and talk. Boost has a dedicated Blackberry customer service. Except for short wait times I never had an issue with them, they were curtious and helpful. I now have for $60 amonth what ATT wanted $96 + taxes for. The phone is awsome (my first smart phone) and the reception has been fantastic. This phone actually worked one place in the mountains where ATT didn’t.
I use a Boosted Blackbery 8350i for my business, and I love it. Gmail, Google Calendar work seamslessly with my office. I have not found a .pdf viewer that works, and would love suggestions.
have had the 8300 series curve on GSM – T-mobile now for 2 yrs, pay about $92/month for talk, text and web so I immediatly jumped at the 8330 on boost (sprint) nationwide network. looked up my address and area on sprints AND boost coverage maps and maps said I supposedly have a “good” signal. Went to best buy (boost 8330 was on sale for $199) bought phone and had it activated in store. phone worked great till I got it home – NO SIGNAL in or outside of my home, and I live in a fairly populated area of Tampa Bay, Florida. NO signal despite the maps telling me that I was supposed to get a “good” 2 to 3 bar signal. could not make or receive calls or texts and forget trying to go on internet. Many freinds told me not to buy phone since sprint has very spotty coverage. I couldn’t agree more. Thankfully, I bought phone @ best buy where they honor 30 day return and thankfully I did NOT have my number ported over from T-mobile, which I get a full 5 bar signal IN my home and have wi-fi to make ANY web page open faster than 3G. I obviously cant make this phone work in my home so I will happily be sticking with t-mobile for all of my blackberry needs present and future. I have had NO problem with T-mobile for 9 yrs and running now.
I want to know if I can purchase a Blackberry 8330 that was previously used on Sprint Network and have my current Boost service changed over to that phone. My i465 fell and is not working. I need my phone. My friend just got a new phone and is willing to sell me her Blackberry 8330. I am not sure if it will work. Not a smartphone type of person but is desperate to know. She claims it can be flashed? Huh. Let me know. Thanks.
i’ve had my boost mobile blackberry for about a month now, and it has just now started acting up with my text messages. I send them just fine, but my texts that i get back ARE RECEIVED but they don’t show up for another 20 minutes after they had already been “received”. i do soft-reboots and hard reboots but nothing works for me. I don’t know what to do to solve this, but it is extremely aggravating! if anyone can help with resolving my problem i’d much appreciate it. thank you!
i have a blackberry 8330 just bought it 2 mnths ago and jus shut down on me is there anything i can do warranty wise??
Hi, I m in troy ny and bought boost 8330. On map shows good coverage for that area but I get 0 to no bars all the time. Tech support spent 3 huors, no use. Tech support said call tomorrow for replacement of set. When I called I was transferred 5 times and then lady said our supervisor refuse for replacements since its not the phone problem but they r working on coverage in that area. I asked then replace with some iden phone that works good in that area but she got rude and tranfered again. 7 times transfered no use. Stay away from it
irfan – the exact same thing happened to me in pasco county (new port richey) florida. It is a well populated area and according to sprint’s maps I should get “good” coverage for my area, and my street. What I get is NO COVERAGE what so ever. I bought the boost 8330 and had best buy activate it for me and it worked fine. I got it home and no coverage. when I went to make a call the phone said “radio path unavailable, call failed” could not sent text either. Called boost and got the runaround that tower was down in my area should be up with in 24 hours. kept phone for 5 days. could not make or receive calls or texts at home or outside my home. get 5 bar signal with t mobile. sprint does not work in my area, despite what maps say. instead of unveiling 4g network, they should work to make their regular network more accessible to people. very spotty coverage in my area. even metro pcs works everywhere in my area. returned phone on 6th day for complete refund – end of story.
can anyone tell me if i can use the Blackberry on the 50 dollar unlimited plaln instead of the 60 dollar plan?
All in all folks, I think MetroPCS is still better. Samsung i220 Code still kicks Blackberry’s ass!
Can the blackberry tour from sprint work on boost mobil
can you bbm with the boost plan?
I bought the blackberry curve 8330 two weeks ago and the phone is awesome. The major problem I’m having with the phone is that I could not receive texts from outside the USA. I have the $5 unlimited international/texts but that does not solve the problem.
Is there anyone out there that is having the same issue. I called the customer service, but they could not help me either.
I have someone text me from Nigeria, Geneva and London but none of the text was received.
I as well own both the nextel version 8350I, and the boost 8330…
The 8350 will never catch up to the 8330 in 3g speed on internet!!, the wifi on the 8350 is fun to play with but on-demand internet??? never will it be a 8330..
The iDEN series will never have the speed as the Sprint network …
They are both great phones, but it really depends on what you want in a phone?
Myself A true born (Florida Boy) the Iden series 8350 works better on talk!!
The 8330 is far superior on web, live streaming, videos, and such!! That being from Florida…… Also from gatorville, n. fl. I travel all over the world in a band and at any time the 8330 has never let me down…

Hello, I have had the Boost Mobile Blackberry 8330 for about 6 months now, It has been amazing to me. Last month Boost mobile gave me a free month, I didn’t pay anything for a whole month. Everything is unlimited, it’s my first smart phone and I love it. yes it has some lag issue, but for 60$-unlimited I can get over that. yes the blackberry may be the only amazing phone boost has to offer they did recently get an android but it’s smaller than the blackberry. What is that? I recommend this phone to anyone who has questions about it.
I had absolutely no problem with my Boost BlackBerry phone service until I drove a little too far, like 60 miles away from where I live! Went to New Hampshire 2 weeks ago, only a 60 miles drive and, stayed there for 3 days…I had no service at all! Couldn’t dial out, text or use the web! Useless! But when I got closer to Mass, got my connections back! Left Boston last Saturday to drive to Montreal, Canada and, I haven’t have any service since I entered Vermont and, none in Canada!!! Boost website says that they have service in Vermont! Lie! Drove right throug that states & had no service at all! It’s extremely scary to drive and lose your cell connections! I will return to Massachusetts in a few days & switch cell provider! I was with Verizon for 11 years & switch to Boost!!! Verizon is too expensive but there must be a middle range somehow???
