Research in Motion, maker of the popular BlackBerry handheld device, and Aurora, a women’s business networking group, has set up the first BlackBerry Women and Technology awards.
Prizes will be awarded to women of have been leaders in academia, journalism, public and private sectors, as well as top female mentors. The awards will raise profiles of trailblazing women in what has been a technology world, dominated by men.
