I would be willing to bet that the release of the BlackBerry Storm 2, or, BlackBerry Storm2, as it may be called, is just around the corner because Best Buy stores around the country are starting to receive shipments of accessories for Research in Motion’s second stab at a touchscreen device.

“…..Make THERE Way Into Best Buy”
Seriously? I really thought this site was run by people who were informed.
English is not even my native language, but I had to laugh the moment I saw it.
We’ll their you go.
🙂
Good catch.. What can I say, I was a math major… 🙂
Did anybody pick up on the fact that they say “the Blackberry Storm 2, or Blackberry Storm2 as it maybe called”? I read it like 5 times to make sure I wasn’t the idiot. Then I realized I was the idiot becaue it took me 5 times to realize it made no sense.
You read that correctly… The Verizon BlackBerry 9550 may actually be called the BlackBerry Storm2 (no space between the m and 2). Most people have been referring to it as the BlackBerry Storm 2 (with a space)
I was contemplating getting a BlackBerry Storm 2 but I heard that there is a new Verizon BlackBerry coming out next Spring that has both a touch screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. Kind of like a Tour with a touch screen.
I already have the Storm 1 and don’t know that getting the Storm 2 would be worth it. I used to have the original iPhone before I got the Storm and I hardly ever used Wi-Fi.
Robb is right on this one… What we have all been calling the BlackBerry Storm 2 will actually be branded as the BlackBerry Storm2. I am kind of surprised that more people haven’t picked up on this. Every piece of Verizon marketing material that I’ve seen refers to it as the Storm2.
Man Robb, one little spelling mistake and you get your readers all riled up. You BlackBerry users are such fickle bunch. Didn’t you notice that the name of this blog is spelled incorrectly?
🙂 I kid… I kid…
Storm2 without a space is how RIM is branding the 9550. I can’t remember which blog it was, but, one of them recently posted a screen grab from an internal Verizon blog where it is indeed referred to as the Storm2.
