BrandWeek has a list of the top 100 brands with the “most loyal consumers” produced from a survey of more than 21,000 consumers by Brand Keys, New York. The Loyalty Leaders Rankings has the BlackBerry 6th on the list of brands with the most loyal consumers. That is definitely not too shabby for the first year on the list. The only problem is that the Treo is ranked 4th in its first year.
So what does this mean? Well, Treo users and BlackBerry users really like their devices. Chances are that neither of them are looking to switch or are even tempted to switch to other devices. Based on the rankings, you would have better chance of getting a BlackBerry user to switch to Treo than a Treo user switching to BlackBerry. I wonder what the rankings will look like next year when you can get your BlackBerry email on a Treo?
