In a quarterly survey released today by eAccess Solutions, one of the largest providers of wireless devices and wireless device accessories, the BlackBerry was selected as the wireless device of choice by visitors polled on the eAccess websites.
Site visitors were asked what wireless handheld device they have deployed or were likely to deploy in the next six months. The BlackBerry won in a landslide victory coming in with 68% of the vote. In second place was the PalmOne Treo with 12%. Cell phones took third with 11% and Windows Mobile/Pocket PC devices brought up the rear with 6%, just in front of undecided with 3%.
