    I tried the free trial of this application on my BB Tour (with Verizon). It worked very well. Better than spending $30 or so per month that Verizon would charge me to tether.

    Very tempting at half price!

    Though the thought of VZW cancelling my service and charging me $175 scares me. I may pass….

    Don’t get it if you are running Snow Leopard and have the Blackberry Desktop installed.. The app will not work!! They have no fix for it!

    Has anyone from VZW used the tetherberry app? If so how was the service and also has anyone lost their service with verizon because of this?

    How well does tether work with blackberry tour I have sprint Does sprint charge extra will I be able to power up my hp lab top. What I s the total cost a month for tether

      No, Sprint doesn’t charge extra. You just need to make sure that you don’t go over your data limit if you don’t have an unlimited data plan (which I strongly recommend). Tether doesn’t have a monthly cost, just a one-time fee, regularly $49.95 unless you catch it on sale.
