Earlier today, Blackberry Sync announced that that Telus is launching the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 on November 2nd. They’ve since updated that announcement with more information, pictures, and spec sheets pretaining to the Telus 8130.

What I find really interesting is that the first thing listed in the Telus BlackBerry Pearl 8130 features list is the Facebook for BlackBerry application. Granted, you can download Facebook for BlackBerry for free. The fact, however, that RIM is pre-loading the application on new BlackBerry Pearls at the factory tells me that RIM is really serious about the consumer market.

BlackBerry Sync is reporting that the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl 8130 will launch on Telus up in Canada this coming Friday, Nov. 2nd.
Telus’ Pearl will come in a silver metallic finish and will sport the 2.0 megapixel camera, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and of course the upgraded OS.
We haven’t gotten any other confirmation, so, if you hear anything let us know.

Back in the summer we heard a rumor that the Sprint BlackBerry Peal 8130 was going to ship around Thanksgiving. Today BGR is reporting that the “close to Thanksgiving” rumor was correct.
According to the document that you see above, the Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 8130 will be available on the 23rd of November.

My bad for completely missing this one last week, but, it looks like the FCC has officially approved the BlackBerry Pearl 8130.
According to PhoneScoop.com and the FCC documents they link to, the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl 8130 was approved on the 25th.
Does this change your opinion on when when it’s launch date will be announced?
Thanks for the tip Wakefield…

We’ve been hearing rumors that the Verizon BlackBerry Pearl is supposed to be released towards the beginning of November for some time now. With the beginning of November just being a few days away, do you think that we will hear a confirmed launch date before the end of October?

Engadget Mobile is at the CTIA convention and has gotten their hands on the new Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 8130 set to go on sale in November.
They’ve taken several pretty good quality photos and you can see them here, here, here, here, and here…

A question that I’ve been asked 42 times and counting since last Thursday is when will Verizon start taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry Pearl? We initially thought October 26th would be the date, however, that was based on a leaked document slating the 8130 to come out 9th before we heard that it was coming out on November 1st.
If Verizon is indeed coming out with the BlackBerry Pearl on November 1st, does this mean that we could see pre-orders this week?

One of our anonymous RIMarkable readers asked a question that we often get from Sprint BlackBerry users.
Why don’t CDMA BlackBerrys ever come out on Sprint first?
They go on to ask if Verizon is paying extra to get the device just a few weeks earlier than Sprint…
Sprint was the first company to announce the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl. They did so before even RIM officially announced it. As cheap as Verizon is, they aren’t paying extra for exclusivity of just a few weeks are they? It would really be nice if Sprint got a BlackBerry first once in a while.
The Sprint BlackBerry Pearl is rumored to come out around Thanksgiving.
