I don’t think that it was a big secret the Flash 10.1 is coming to the BlackBerry OS. The fact that Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said back in April that Flash 10.1 (for BlackBerry) would be out in the second half of this year was a pretty big hint. We had hoped that we would get a an official release date of Flash for BlackBerry, but, I guess that we will have to just make due with the fact that Adobe has officially stated that 10.1 is on the way.
This video is mostly about CS5, however, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen did say that Flash 10.1 would be out in the second half of 2010.
There isn’t too much here that we didn’t already know, however, that sliver of hope that Flash 10.1 would be ready when the new WebKit BlackBerry Browser launches is all but dashed… Unless, of course, the new WebKit BlackBerry Browser isn’t coming out until July or later itself.
