Sounds Like A True Picasa Mobile Client Is Coming To The BlackBerry

Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the CES convention in Las Vegas this week, however, I am trying to keep tabs on some of the cool BlackBerry developments coming out of the show.

One thing that sounds pretty cool is the new Picasa application for BlackBerry. Picasa is the free image management application from Google and, according to BerryReview, the new version of Picasa Mobile is more than just a link on your BlackBerry’s homepage.

The new version is an actual application that ties into your devices camera and allows you to tag and geotag images before you upload them.

BerryReview has a couple of live screenshots over on their site.

When I downloaded the Google suite today onto my BB Pearl, there is was. I didn’t know what it was, but I’ll take a closer look now.
