This would be a smart idea for Slacker (instead of R&D and building their own hardware) It would also be a smart idea for RIM. Sadly for Slacker, RIM consumers, Simplexity add yet another layer of crap over and above that of the four orifices.
Another reason why RIM needs to get into the unbranded, and unlocked. direct sales, service and training market (in addition to the four orifices carrying BB models branded, and locked. Partnerships with other media companies through App World would even be more the reason.
