RIM Looking To Sell Recently Acquired Cloud Services Company, NewBay

August 14, 2012 by Robb Dunewood Leave a Comment

According to a Wall Street Journal report, Research in Motion is looking to sell NewBay, a cloud-based digital services company that was acquired by RIM last October for $100 million.

NewBay was on a list of recent acquisitions that Research in Motion is trying to shed in an effort to streamline operations.   Earlier this year RIM sold email services provider Alt-N Technologies Ltd., which they acquired back in 2009.
