Research In Motion Not Taking Microsoft’s Calls

August 28, 2007 by Robb Dunewood 3 Comments

We all know that the BlackBerry is kicking the collective butts of all the Windows Mobile devices out there, however, Research in Motion could at least pick up the phone the few times that Microsoft calls to find out why BlackBerry Desktop crashes once in a blue moon. [/sarcasm]

RIM should think about a desktop app for Mac. Its no longer a windows only world.

Glad RIM is ignoring windoz, another technology which is in decline. gquaglia, Not just a desktop app for Mac, I’d much prefer a universal app, working with windoz, mac, and linux.

    BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager

I sure hope a poster is wrong when later stating:
“It won’t work with Safari or Firefox (have tested the latter), as it actually relies on an ActiveX installation of the device communications driver that allows this to work; this means that it won’t work on your BlackBerry device, either (tested that as well).”

Even windoz users know using explorer is not cool or safe.

It won’t matter RIM’s coming out with a web version of DM and that should take care of DM crashing
