iPhone vs. BlackBerry Bold Video

May 22, 2008 by Robb Dunewood 7 Comments

The iPhone Blog, sister site to CrackBerry.com, has just released a video comparing the iPhone vs. the BlackBerry Bold. I have to admit that it is pretty fair even though the review is done by someone in love with the iPhone enough to start a blog about it.

Come on, can you imagine someone so into a mobile device that they would set up a web site dedicated to it and spend countless hours talking about it?

You know what’s even more pathetic than those blogging about the phones they’re obsessed about are the people that scour those sites day in and day out…. I mean really……. oh wait. Nevermind.

Wow. That was a great review video. Thanks for posting it.

It did seem balanced and fair. After waiting so long for the CDMA Curve, I’m kind of tired of new devices now. What’s the scoop on these things, anybody know?
    -BB music sync with itunes
-togo for BB, is this available on every BB or just future rollouts?
    -are the BOLD’s keys backlit?

To the response from the guy who cant type a letter on the iphone?

If you hold your finger on the screen you can scroll the letters and remove your finger when its on the one you want, I have never had a problem using the iphone to type its way better than any other phone, and I have had 2 diffrent BB. The effort it takes to figure out how to use some of the devices out today or crazy, I am tech savy but it takes me weeks to figure some of them out and then they are not really functional. The iphone is the easiest device to use and includes almost all the same features that the other phones do with the exception of a few . I will also complain about the iphone…how can a device so advanced not have a video recorder, I mean its the best mp3 player and in my opinion the best portable/phone device you can watch a movie on, but its not able to recored video?? Simple features like cut and paste are not available but you can get the internet in your pocket like what you would see on your home computer, and not just part of the page that you have to scroll up and down and over back forthe etc to see it, let alone the devices that only offer internet moble. I just think its like having a car that is so advanced that it can calculate you MPG and tell you when your tires need air, but doesnt go in reverse??? I still think the iphone is hands down the better device by far, and when the iphone 3g come on july 11th, it really will be the superior device.
