Finally almost two yrs. after RIMarkable made its first post on why it would be a good idea for BlackBerry to take BBM cross platform, we have a first look at BBM running on Android.
Currently BBM for Android is running in its beta form and my good buddy Joe over at BBOS put together a nice demo video. The official release is scheduled for this month as some users are already testing the app via The BlackBerry Beta Zone.

I downloaded BBM on my old Android phone hoping it would remind me of why I loved BBM. It is not a Voxer or WhatsApp replacement. Even if I could have this on my Lumia 1020 I would stick with Skype, Voxer, WhatsApp, and the build in messaging app.
They should of done so much better.
That was a fake anyways. There has been alot of those going around. Please wait until the official release.
It looks very good. I am glad that someone realized how necessary that was.
