We just received notification this morning that eBuddy XMS, an extremely popular cross platform instant messaging app on the iPhone and Android, is now available for the BlackBerry. One of the cool features of eBuddy XMS is that, like BlackBerry Messenger, it supports sending, sent & read notifications.
eBuddy XMS isn’t yet available in BlackBerry App World, but you can download it OTA to your device by visiting www.ebuddyxms.com. We are downloading eBuddy XMS for BlackBerry as we type this post, so, we aren’t ready to put a review up just yet. If you decide to check it out, however, we would love to see what you think in the comments.
At first I thought this was just another IM app, but, the ability to send messages from a computer kind of sets it apart.
Not bad, but it really drains battery life!
