BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 Wins FCC Approval

July 18, 2011 by Robb Dunewood Leave a Comment

The first next-generation BlackBerry to win FCC approval was the touch BlackBerry Bold 9900, however, the BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 now joins the ranks of  BlackBerry devices with 1.2GHz processors that run BlackBerry 7.  The BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 also sports 768MB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera, and a 640 x 480 resolution display, but, unlike the touch Bold 9900, the Torch 2 lacks NFC.   The Torch 2 9810 will first hit AT&T in the U.S. and we could see the device ship as early as next month.
