BlackBerry Service Banned In Pakistan

In an effort to keep citizens from getting to sites like Facebook, which, along with about 1000 other websites was banned for blasphemous content primarily stemming from Facebook’s “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day”, BlackBerry service has too been banned. The Pakistan Telecom Authority has asked all telecom companies in Pakistan to halt BlackBerry service indefinitely so they can make sure that they have blocked all the ways that citizens could get to banned sites.
