Alltel BlackBerry Pearl Flip

Contrary to what we thought was going to happen, Alltel, not Verizon, will be the first carrier to offer the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 here in the United States.  The first CDMA clamshell style flip-phone BlackBerry should be hitting the street in early May and will set you back $79.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate.

That doesn’t make sense. Alltel is merging with verizon. They should have just given it to verizon

The merger is happening but alltel is still it’s own company for now. I’m pretty sure VZW is not that far behind in getting the pearl flip

i think by the end of 2009 all of alltel will be part of VZW
