BlackBerry Pearl 2 Coming To Sprint Around Thanksgiving

The word on the street is that the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl 2 will hit Sprints network sometime around Thanksgiving. We’ve also heard that the Verizon will get the BlackBerry Pearl 2 in the November time frame.

I don’t know that two carriers in the same market have ever released the same BlackBerry on the same day so my guess, if the rumors our correct, is that Verizon will launch towards the beginning of the month or sooner.

    Seriously, as crappy as Verizon can be when it comes to the BlackBerrys they carry I cannot imagine them allowing Sprint to come out with something new before them.

    The fact that I am saying this, of course, means that things will happen exactly contrary to what I predict.

    Has verizon even said they are going for the Peal 2?

    Has the Pearl 2 gone thru, and passed verizon’s “extensive testing” and crippling labs yet?

    Not bad only about 2 years after the rest of the world got our classic Pearls. Now the Global GSM family gets to soon enjoy WiFi Pearl 2′s (our second generation of Pearl)

    I’m not going to get my hopes up for a CDMA Pearl until I see it for sale on Sprint’s web site. Someone got the rumormill running with comments about a Sprint Pearl to be released on May 7, 2007 and that obviously never came to fruition.

    I hope Dunewood is right, but I’m not holding my breath…

    Does anyone know why Verizon comes out with the worst phones or why they are the last ones to get a new product? it drives me crazy. I am so tempted to go to another network.
