BBAdmin from BlackBerry Forums has posted a couple of pictures of the O2 BlackBerry 8707g. Personally, I think that this is the sharpest looking 87XX model BlackBerry yet.

Have you noticed that we haven’t seen any of those really good PhotoShop renderings of the BlackBerry Pearl like we usually do before a new BlackBerry device gets released?
This is the first time that I can remember that we have been this close to the release of new BlackBerry and someone hasn’t leaked a rendered picture of it. Granted, we have seen plenty of live shots, which, thanks to Boy Genius, hit the message boards long before we would normally see them. I just can’t believe that less than two weeks out we still haven’t seen the PhotoShopped marketing slick photos of the BlackBerry Pearl.

I don’t think that I am going out on a limb when I say that there is as much if not more buzz around the BlackBerry Pearl as than any other BlackBerry to date, including the BlackBerry 8700. Therefore, I don’t think that it is too much of a stretch to say that the BlackBerry Pearl will become the best selling BlackBerry yet.
To be totally honest, however, it won’t be the low $199 price or the fact that the Pearl’s target demographic is the biggest to date for RIM alone that will take sales of the first CameraBerry to record highs. RIM has decided to give their next generation devices names and they will be the same regardless of the carrier, unlike there current practice of specific letter designations for certain carriers. Unless the hardware on the BlackBerry Pearl has more bugs than a Treo and the software is less reliable than Windows Mobile, RIM can’t help but make a killing off of this device.
Does anyone care to bet against me?

Research in Motion, Cingular, and Palm have recently announced the availability of BlackBerry Connect for the Palm Treo 650. The long awaited software update allows non-BlackBerry devices to send and receive Push based corporate email via BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The availability of BlackBerry Connect on the Palm Treo 650 represents a marriage of two very popular wireless offerings that now gives Cingular customers more choice, said Michael Woodward, executive director, mobile professional solutions, for Cingular Wireless. Businesses can now leverage their existing BlackBerry Enterprise Server while giving employees a powerful, new wireless device option.
BlackBerry Connect for the Treo 650 includes the following features:
- Push Corporate Email delivers messages automatically — and wirelessly — to the Treo 650s inbox. Changes to the inbox, including read/unread status and deletion, can be automatically synchronized between the users email account and the Treo 650.
- Wireless Calendar Synchronization keeps the Treo 650s built-in Calendar up to date remotely, allowing users to receive, accept or decline meeting requests on the go.
- Attachment Viewing lets users view Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PDF documents in original format.
- Remote Address Lookup (RAL) allows users to search their corporate directory wirelessly for email addresses without the need to download every name to the Treo 650.
- Enables centralized device management, including support for IT policies such as over-the-air device disablement and password device lock, as well as end-to-end security with Triple DES encryption.
