Even though I am using the BlackBerry Storm these days, I’ve always been a big fan of the Blackberry Pearl. In this video of the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 (Stratus or Stricker), Salomondrin gives a pretty good overview of the the second coming of the Pearl.

I always thought Pearls were FUGLY, but this is a Pearl I would own.
I too also use a Storm2 and love the Pearl. When this baby hits the market, I’ll be first in line. The Bold 2 is solid, so I can only imagine the Pearl 2 being just as solid. For me, it would be the ultimate phone. Heard this will be hitting AT&T in April (did he mention it in the video…I haven’t watched it). Would be even better if it hit VZW.
I loved this phone. I guess there’s a certain amount of text they have to fit in and the characters need to be large enough to be suitably visible. Perhaps there’s a market for a blacked-out Pearl 9100, with all text-legends removed for elite BlackBerry owners! I was able to do everything and hide the phone in an instant.
