OK gang. This is either the first picture of the upcoming Verizon BlackBerry Curve that we’ve seen, or, a pretty decent Photoshop job. I’ll let you decide.
I am on the record, however, for saying that I cannot believe that Sprint, who is rumored to come out with their version of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 around mid April, will get this device before Verizon does. If the Sprint BlackBerry Curve rumors are right, Verizon has about 2 1/2 weeks to squeeze to get something out.
I’d be willing to bet that this is the first of many “leaked” shots of the Verizon BlackBerry Curve 8330 that will hit the blogosphere over the coming days.

Oh it’s soooo pretty.
Very exciting news! The source who posted it, Cate over at Crackberry said this is a mock up for an Ad that a friend is working on for VZW. Sounds legit to me.

I saw this on the Crackberry site too. I believe it is legit. I am eligible for an upgrade and have been impatiently waiting for Verizon to get the Curve.
Photoshop
By far the ugliest of the potential Curve options. All-black, graphite, silver – ANYTHING looks better than this. It’s not sexy, it’s just harsh and contrasty. I’ve been looking forward to this phone for ages, and this just disappoints.
Yes, it is photoshop, that’s what graphic designers use to make ads for companies. I would know, because I am one myself. It’s not a secret, it was mentioned by the person who posted it that this was part of an ad that some was working on for Verizon…using PHOTOSHOP. No one said this is the actual phone, it is part of the artwork for the advertising.

The one pictured above is silver. Although I would prefer it to look more like the silver in this photo (on the right). Instead of it being black around the screen and on the keys, more of a dark charcoal cover instead.

Either way, I don’t care what color they release. I’m sending mine off to colorware and getting a custom paint job anyway.

Guys I just got the email today at work letting me know that the curve is on its way 4/20/08 That means on monday the 21st every sprint rep will be ordering it. And the reason why we are coming out with it first is because we are having problems and we need to put out some better handsets then what we have. oh this is coming from a sprint rep by the way.
If this is real it is definitely the ugliest looking curve. No doubt in a few months they’ll come out with a pink one like they did the pearl and then this will only be the second ugliest.
I’m in the minority but I like the silver color. What I don’t like on the CDMA version is the placement of the LED and that the black area where it says “Blackberry” is bigger – it seems like the screen is smaller as a result.
I really don’t care what color it is when it’s released. It will be a CDMA Curve! I’ve been hearing that the VZW Curve might not be released until May… although many over at HoFo are putting their money on sometime in April. There have been rumors going around that it’s having issues with connecting to EVDO. If these are at all true… that may be because it’ll be offering Rev A. Which would be good!!!
I like the way it looks… just grateful to have a Curve come out sooner rather than later.

UGH this better not be the upcoming verizon curve cause if it is ill be pissed…IT LOOKS WHITE….i hope its photoshop cause this is not a good look…bring back the dark colored phones like black and titanum… OMG i want that BB 9000 too…. i wonder when verizon wil release that 2010….its hot
