Unlocked BlackBerry 9000 Pulled From eBay

by Robb Dunewood on April 28, 2008 · 7 comments

We don’t know how legitimate this auction actually was, however, an unlocked BlackBerry 9000 was listed on eBay earlier today and they had some pretty good close up pictures of the device as well.

The seller listed 2 BlackBerry 9000 devices for sale at a starting price of $399.99. It isn’t clear why the auction was canceled, however, the seller said that they did have the devices in stock even though they wouldn’t ship them until August.

I’d bet that the PR team at RIM picked it up in their sweep and made some calls and pulled some strings to have it pulled. One legal team calling another.

Now, if that’s the actual 9000…

You think that same ebay seller has a couple of Verizon Curves on hand? I’d be interested in taking a gander at them. :) lol.
