There is a promising new Twitter client for the BlackBerry called ÜberTwitter that is now in public beta and available for download.
ÜberTwitter includes the following features:
- Integrated ability to upload pictures to a site dedicated to serving ÜberTwitter users
- Ability to optionally update your Google Talk status with your last tweet, making your tweets reach a wider audience then just people following you on Twitter
- Automatically update your location based on the cell tower information provided by your phone, no GPS hardware required
- Send videos embedded in your tweet
- See everyone who is tweeting near you
ÜberTwitter runs on all BlackBerry devices that run BlackBerry OS 4.2.1, 4.3, 4.5, 4.6, and 4.7 including support for the BlackBerry Storm.

I love how it recognizes user names and loads their timeline’s within the application – not just a link out to the browser…
Currently it’s kinda buggy on my 8130, but it shows LOTS of promise….
going to give it a test runover the weekend on the verizon curve…will update
