Seriously. The top 9 reasons are weak. Maybe this is the reason Rimarkable has been dying a slow death over the last 6 months.

You need more creativity in this site if you wish to keep it alive.

I am calling you our right now: get with the program or die the slow death (which you know is evident). The choice is now up to you.

Criticism is good and I gladly accept it. What, however do you suggest in the way of site improvements? “Get with the program” is a bit vague.

#3, “theoutsider”…on what do you base your opinion that this site “has been dying a slow death over the last 6 months?” If anything, I’ve seen more lively discussion and comments over the last few months, as Robb continues to be the master of asking very provocative questions.

I mean, just reading the back and forth between “hellno” and “gquaglia” is worth the price of admission.

Lastly, this blog is a labor of love for Robb; he does not in any way depend on it as his livelihood. Thus, it isn’t about the performance of the blog in terms of readership numbers, etc…it’s about self expression and online community.

Even gquaglia and I agree about somethings.

I think rimarkable is a rather good source of RIM BB news and views. Much better than the other one which thinks it’s cool to spread untrue rumors about RIM and it’s BB’s.

Now if I could only teach the last of the verizon holdouts the error of their ways :)

10)The NTP lawsuit which had microsoft all over it failed.

11)windows mobile, ce, windows smartphone no matter what it’s called or what version it is SUCKS

12)Symbian, Google Phone (rumor), the iPhone and the RIM BB’s are all in various ways each taking pieces out of microsoft. The software battle is no longer on the desktop, (which windows is failing too) mobile devices are the new game, and the media they can sell for those devices.

I can see microsoft doing this, as we know there is great value in RIM. I won’t be along for the ride though, if it happens I’m moving on. Been there, done that with microsoft and it’s windows mess and will not go back there, even if it is still the BB devices we all know and love.
