Research in Motion is renaming Wireless Enterprise Symposium Conference (WES), its biggest conference of the year, to something a bit more reflective of its current focus on the QNX BlackBerry Operating System as well as broadening the scope of the even beyond the enterprise.  BGR is reporting that they been informed of the name change by multiple sources, although, the new name of the convention is still unknown.

BlackBerry Bold 9650

You know how the saying goes…  I am just not feeling the new BlackBerry Bold 9650 rumored to be officially announced next week at WES and launched in May.  What will the new Bold 9650 do that most other BlackBerry devices with full QWERTY keyboards won’t do?  I am sure there is something, but, is it really enough warrant buying another device?

I may pass on the the BlackBerry Bold 9650 just like I passed on the BlackBerry Storm2.  What else do you have coming out RIM?

BlackBerry Bold 9650

This probably doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, but, according to BGR, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 will officially be announced next week during WES and go on sale at Verizon May 1st.

How big of a deal do you think the BlackBerry Bold 9650 will be for RIM?

According to BGR, which is usually right about this kind of stuff, the BlackBerry 9000 will be officially announced by Research in Motion May 12th, the first day of WES down in Orlando Florida.

To be clear, the BlackBerry 9000 is being announced… Not released. If RIM follows suite, this thing will probably come out first on AT&T anywhere from a few weeks to a few months later.

Maybe we should go ahead and start the “How long with it take the BlackBerry 9000 to come out on Verizon?” thread now so we can get a jump start on what most probably will be a very popular post if past history is a good indication of things.
