For all of you BlackBerry theme developers that want to start creating BlackBerry themes for the Tour and the Curve 8520, Plazmic has updated Content Developer’s Kit 4.7 to support both devices. I am guessing that we will start seeing more BlackBerry Tour and Curve 8520 themes any minute now.

Plazmic has just released the Content Developer’s Kit 4.7 for BlackBerry which, among other things, allows BlackBerry Theme developers to create themes for the BlackBerry Storm, Curve 8900, and Curve 8350i. The Plazmic CDK 4.7 beta was leaked just over a month ago and themes for the before mentioned BlackBerry devices started hitting the web within hours. There were some bugs however, so, I am sure that BlackBerry theme developers in particular will be happy to get their hands on the official release.

We just heard word that Plazmic 4.7 CDK beta is floating around on the web. What this means for BlackBerry Storm users who have been wanting to change their theme since the device came out is that the toolset necessary for BlackBerry theme developers to create BlackBerry Storm Themes is now available.
In addition to the BlackBerry Storm Themes, Plazmic 4.7 can also allows theme developers to create themes for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the BlackBerry 8350i. It looks new BlackBerry users soon will will be able to get their BlackBerry theme fix on.

I fully expect to see new BlackBerry Storm themes by the end of the week.
