AppleBerry BlackBerry Storm ThemeA CrackBerry.com forum member that goes by the name hastings has created a free BlackBerry Storm Theme called AppleBerry that looks pretty good for a free BlackBerry Theme.  I haven’t had the chance to install AppleBerry on my BlackBerry Storm, however, CrackBerry Kevin has and has this to say:

The AppleBerry theme is SLICK. I installed it on my Storm and have been thoroughly impressed. Pretty much everything has been re-skinned, I love the message/calendar preview on the homescreen and “touch strip” is clever.

If you want to make your BlackBerry Storm kind of have that Mac look and feel check out the AppleBerry forum over on CrackBerry.com

We knew that when Plazmic 4.7 CDK beta leaked yesterday it wouldn’t be long before BlackBerry Storm themes would start to appear.  I believe that I said that we would have seen BlackBerry Storm thems by the end of the week, however, I should have said that we would see BlackBerry Storm themes by the end of the day.

BlackBerry Strom Themes

The first BlackBerry Storm themes that we heard about can be found over on Black Light Themes.  What’s even better that the BlackBerry Storm Themes over their are free.

We’ve also heard great news from our pal Peter over at eVeek.  He says that the Elecite.com team is definitely working on BlackBerry Storm Themes as well as BlackBerry Curve 8900 Themes.  It shouldn’t be to long before you can get your hands on premium BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Curve 8900 Themes and we’ ll be sure to let you know when they have something avaiable.

We just heard word that Plazmic 4.7 CDK beta is floating around on the web.  What this means for BlackBerry Storm users who have been wanting to change their theme since the device came out is that the toolset necessary for BlackBerry theme developers to create BlackBerry Storm Themes is now available.

In addition to the BlackBerry Storm Themes, Plazmic 4.7  can also allows theme developers to create themes for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the BlackBerry 8350i.  It looks new BlackBerry users soon will will be able to get their BlackBerry theme fix on.

We’ve found Plazmic 4.7 CDK in several spots on the web.  I downloaded it from here

I fully expect to see new BlackBerry Storm themes by the end of the week.
