This morning via press release Research in Motion announced that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Curve 9360 have become the world’s first SIM-based smartphones to receive MasterCard PayPass handset certification, allowing BlackBerry users to pay for goods and services using NFC (Near Field Communications) at merchants that accept MasterCard.

Research in Motion officially announced two new BlackBerry 7 smartphones earlier today, but, there are several other devices that RIM still has to officially unveil. One of those devices is the BlackBerry Curve 9360 which is a full QWERTY device with a touch screen similar to it’s bigger cousin, the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930. OMR was able to get their hands on the BlackBerry Curve 9330 and have taken quite a few pictures of the device while giving it a walk-through.
