For a little over a year I’ve thought that a Pre-Paid BlackBerry would fly in the U.S. It would appear that T-Mobile now agrees with me.
We are hearing reports of a $299 T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl II that doesn’t require a contract on sale at various Best Buy and Target stores around the country. I wonder how long it will be before any of the other big wireless carriers will offer similar deals? I’d be willing to bet that we will see more devices offered at a lower price point when we do.

Will any unlock BlackBerry work or just their “PrePaid” one?
I guess this would be the key. In US market, most (if not all) of the “PrePaid” plans require “PrePaid” phone, not any unlock phone would work.
