It looks like someone over on the Sprint.com home page messed up. Here is a screen grab from Sprint.com where they are talking about the BlackBerry 7130e and the BlackBerry 8703e. You can clearly see that there is an antenna on the 8703e, however, there shouldn’t be. At least not that we know of…
There are several comments over on engadget mobile as to why there is an antenna on the 8703e and they range from this being the iDEN model for Nextel to the picture just being a joke. I am going to go with what Steve’s Sprint rep says:
“This is evidently an accidental posting of an inaccurate image.”
You will notice that the picture has been corrected if you swing by Sprint’s site.

She took a while to get back to me, so I thought something was up. Alas, not the case. She said she’s glad she dispelled any conspiracies.
