The first screen I see is one telling me that it’s usable from Internet Explorer only Sorry, but that’s a non-starter for me. What a disappointment.

@JB,

What are you talking about? App World is an Application that you install on your BlackBerry. You don’t need internet explorer at all.

It’s cool, lots of free stuff, but I noticed it started slowing down my storm. Even pressing the unlock button had about a 10 sec delay now…

I think it’s a real statement about how much people don’t want to pay $2.99+ for an app when all of the “Top Downloads” are Free. I was so excited for it’s release and when I was browsing the apps I realized then that I woudn’t spend 2.99 for a “Phoney Fart” or a light saber. It’s ridiculous, I would pay .99 for any of those things but 4.99, 9.99 and so on just seem like outrageous prices for some of these apps. I know the App world is in it’s early stages and a lot of apps are being added daily to the database. Here’s to hoping things get better soon.

It seems funny to me that there is so much hype about all of these folks jumping on the iPhone bandwagon, building their own app stores. It’s great that we are becoming so much more savvy with our phones, thanks to the iPhone, but there are still some oldies but goodies that sell apps for all platforms, and all different types of phones. I’ve been a Handango fan for almost ten years.
… and yes they are running a sale on their ‘140,000 Apps’ – 20% off everything through Monday (4/6). Check it out: http://www.handango.com/homepage/Homepage.jsp?&WT.mc_id=20_RIM

If they want to make the Storm cooler, they need to include some stuff. I suggest a web comic like Pyramids of Mars, which Iunderstand it being converted for use on portable devices. Just put something like on the Storm and even if teh business guys don’t dig it, their kids would. Hello to a whole new generation of users…

Im just really disappointed by the fact that only 3 countries are actually able to use the App Store. I was waiting for ages for this!

RIM really need to sort some stuff out if they want this to work. Anyway dose anybody know if this will EVER be available outside of the UK and North America?

What happens, then, if the supply of gold increases, demand for money remaining the same? ,
