RIM delays Q2 filing results

Research in Motion announced late Friday that it will delay filing it’s financial statements of Q2 initially scheduled to come out on October 17th. It would appear that RIM is in the same boat as about 120 or so other companies that have to go back and review possible Generally Accepted Accounting Practice errors on how the companies accounted for stock option grants.
