Good Technology, a major competitor of Research in Motion on the mobile ‘Push’ email front, bought wireless platform security solutions provider JP Mobile. The purchase, said to be somewhere south of $75 million, was made to acquire SureWave Mobility Suite.
The SureWave Mobility Suite is a comprehensive wireless mobility solution for enterprises, carriers, system integrators and independent software vendors that includes SureWave Mobile Office, SureWave Mobile Defense and the SureWave Mobile Platform. The seamless integration inherent in the SureWave Mobility Suite ensures that all of its components work together with a synergy unachievable from disparate mobility solutions.
