Sprint has put up a notification page for the Nextel BlackBerry Curve 8350i, the first new BlackBerry to come specifically on the Nextel network in years.

There still is not official release date for the BlackBerry 8350i, however, all indications are still pointing to something coming out this fall.

    I have the Nextel 8350i, and it is by far the BEST nextel out there. I have had the 8330 Curver from sprint and hands down the 8350i is the last phone i will ever need to buy!!!!! call me if you need to know anything about it at (704) 902-5825 or text!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey people i wanted to let you know YES you can use the 8350i with boost thats how i have mine working and yes internet will work. send me a note and i will let you know how to unlock it for boost. there is a small charge for this service to my paypal account I did say small.

        You can only use this device on Nextel. There is no SIM card.

    Yes it will work with boost mobile. NO it doesnt have to be unlocked. Just pop in your sim and go. MMS text messaging ,Blackberry web, and a few other features will NOT work with boost.

      Oh yeah I want to add this the blackberry will ONLY work on IDEN networks. It doesnt have to be unlocked to use with BOOST MOBILE. It wont work for GSM networks…like t-mobile,att,verizon….ect. ONLY NEXTEL/BOOST. griselda is a scam

    remove the +1 on your blackberry 8350i to make calles go to options on contact page and put on unknown

    The Blackberry 8350i needs to be flashed or unlocked to work with the Boost 50 dollar unlimited plan. In order to get text, web and apps to work you need service books. But without the Blackberry Email Service email WILL NOT WORK. Hey guys and gals dont pay people to fix your phone you can do it yourself. Check out “Howards Forum” for help.     I just bought BlackBerry Curve 8350i (Sprint Nextel) , BUT I’m wondering if because it has Sprint before Nextel, if that will matter, when I put my Boost sim card in. Also, can I fully unlock it, to have unlimited internet, since Blackberry’s have Data Plans, It’s brand new in the box, and if I can’t get it to work, I’ll sell it for $250. No Contract. My phone # is 1-850-276-1070
    Also, if you know how to mod xboxes, PSP’s, Iphones, Ipods, Unlock Cell Phones, call me, as I will pay you to either give me some lessons, and teach me. Or sell me items.

    Guys,
    Best phone in black berry series, perfect and executive look like a perfect gentleman.But I had the same problem in my vacation in India. My BB locked for other networks and i suffered for a day and i googled it and i found some paid websites. some are expensive and some are cheaper so i found one cheaper one and they gave me the unlock code within 24 hours. i think they are good

    I went into a boost store and they unlocked my 8350i for boost for $20. More worth it! They do it proper and if it doesn’t work or messes up they fix it for free! Highly recommened to just go down to a boost store and do it there, however you can not go into a retailer that works directly for boost they will try to get you to but the 8330.

      Dude, you mean a particular retailer? or the sprint store?? that carries boostmobile stuff? where did you done it?

        Yes everything works except getting emails pushed to your phone but you can go online and login n check it. I’m sure There’s a way to get it to Work but I’m happy with everything Else working so I’m not gonna waste time n figure it out. But like I have said befor if you want the service books and directiond call me 760 4837731 anytime. I. Will walk u threw it if u need me too. Free but I gladly take any donations.       Barry, If you already have an activated boost sim card slide it into the 8350i. Calls and DC will work. If you do not have an active Boost sim card you must get one first ($19.99 sim activation kit). To get web & MMS goto Ebay and do a quick search, I purchased the service books needed and all the instructions for $1.00. Works PERFECTLY! There is a gmail app for email. The only thing you will never get with boost is the default email and sms messaging as they require BIS/BES data plans. Simle workaround: MMS messaging acts just like sms, text back and forth to anyone seemlessly. I have outlook 2007 installed on my pc for my POP mail (from internet provider) and have it set to forward all incoming messages to my gmail account. I now get all my email on the 8350i.
