Dublin, Ohio based MaximumSoft Corp. today announced the immediate releases of NewsCopier, a free RSS news reader for the BlackBerry.

NewsCopier puts the latest headlines, weather, sports, business, and entertainment news right in your hands. It keeps you up-to-date on blogs, bargains, stocks and other news. You have instant access to the news you are interested in. The program can use your wireless connection, or update headlines when your Device is connected to the Internet.

NewsCopier works with all BlackBerry models and supports RSS 1.0 (icluding RSS 0.9, 0.91, 0.92) RSS 2.0 and Atom.

I haven’t had a chance to test out NewsCopier, however, one thing I do know is that you can’t beat the price.

I installed in on my 7250 but didn’t work. I receive a message that the software needs a RIM authorization or something like that.

Once installed, it should show version number “1.0.1″ (Options > Advance Options > Applications).
