A Boy Genius Report tipster is reporting that T-Mobile is going to re-release their popular first-generation BlackBerry Pearl in three new colors: Blue, Gold, and Red. These three units will join the existing original model and Pearl White edition bringing the total of available T-Mobile BlackBerry colors to 5.
The new T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearls will be available September 4th.

Were I a TMO customer and were I anxiously awaiting the release of the Pearl 2, this would worry me. I would think that, if TMO had a plan to release new colors of the original Pearl (which I don’t believe is just a matter of switching face plates – but please correct me if I am wrong), then the release of the Pearl 2 will not be coming anytime soon.
The flip-side is that, were I an ATT customer, and were the reports that the drop date for the Pearl 2 is imminent true, then I would be ecstatic as it seems likely that ATT will get it before TMO.
Naturally, I am a VZ customer and don’t really care whether the Pearl 2 drops on ATT or TMO, so long as it comes to VZ (which the rumors suggest it may since there is a CDMA version in the works). Now if only someone out there in blog land could dig out that drop date. Now that would be exciting.

I have just purchased the BB Curve…. a few things 1) http://www.phonezoo.com you can get just about any ringtones you like there and put them on your BB. 2) I have always had a phone that had the world clock on it I like to see what time it is in other areas since I live in a different time zone than my family… that being said soes anyone know where I can download a world time clock to my BB?

The pearls are coming out the release date was sept 4 but it has been push back and it isnt just a matter of just changing the faceplates

by the way since att already has the red pearl the blue and gold is only for tmo so….sorry
