Mark the date down. On December 7th, 2005, I actually laid my eyes on a BlackBerry 8700c in a store. To be fair I really haven’t gone out of my way to look for them passed a couple of days after Thanksgiving, however, I did happen pass through a Cingular store the other day and they had 4 of them in stock.
The 8700c has been reviewed to death so I will just give one observation based on the 30 seconds that I held the fake display unit. The keys seem to be a bit too close together especially for those of us who have very large hands. I know that sounds kind of strange from coming from someone who absolutely adores BlackBerry 71xx models, however, when you compare to a 7290, the keys definitely have a cramped together feel.
