Isn’t it strange how things sometimes come in waves? Just yesterday we blogged about a new social network for BlackBerry users and today, Research in Motion co-CEO, Jim Balsillie, talked about how a social networking revolution is coming and how the BlackBerry will play a big part in it.
“Once social networking becomes a B2B phenomenon – not unlike IM and texting – I believe every single social-networking user will want a data plan.”
There is no doubt that RIM plans to be in the Social Networking scene. Just look at how they’ve pushed and continue to push Facebook for BlackBerry. Will we start to see social networking applications for the BlackBerry on other networks?
What role will the BlackBerry play in this “social networking revolution” that Balsillie says is coming.
