Rumor has it that a new BlackBerry application is in the works that will allow BlackBerry users to PKZip or GZip files directly on their BlackBerry devices.
With all of the BlackBerry document editing utilities that seem to be popping up, an application that can zip those files up and allow you to send them as attachments sounds pretty cool.
Being able to open zipped attachments would be pretty nifty as well…
